Japan
This series started in Japan. After I found a Japaness field guide called Nihon no Kinoko and a desperate day in the photo lab.
Temple University Japan used this as the 2008 June image in their calander. (Thanks TUJ!)
The following images were shown in the Fleisher exhibition in 2008. They are documentations of humans infected with elctromagnetic fungi.
Infectious Series
Having lived So. Cal, until grad school in Philladelphia, I found the concept of things freezing (without puting it in the freezer) fascinating and rather novel. So I proceeded to put everything in my studio in ice; post-its, peices from other installations, rusting old nails, sprinkles ... whatever.
